LOOK Academy’s 'Introduction to Professional Makeup'* course is an intensive industry-based, practical course, which provides a solid foundation in the skills required within the creative industry. Under the experienced guidance of leading industry professional make up artists, you will be introduced to the world of make up application suitable for fashion, catwalk, bridal and special occasions.  

This comprehensive 8-week course will cover:

  • Skin Care and Colour Theory.
  • Face Shapes Analysis and Contouring.
  • Make-up Kit and Brush Roll.
  • Eye Make-up Products, Eye Shape and Eyebrows.
  • Base, Face and Cheeks.
  • Lips and Eyes.
  • Studio Crew, Lighting, Black and White Photography.
  • Retouching and Following a Brief.
  • Body, Commercial, Bridal and Catwalk Make-up.
  • Beauty Make-up.
  • Catwalk Workshop.
  • Fashion Campaign and Mini Make-up Challenges.
  • TVC and Music Video Make-up.

Course Duration: 48 hours (8 weekly 2 x 3 - hour sessions)
Course Cost: $1590 plus Look Academy Professional Makeup Artist Starter Kit**  : $1100

** The Look Academy Pro Makeup Starter Kit has been specifically designed by our pro makeup artists and consists of the basic products and items commonly found in a professional makeup artists kit. Unlike some academies we do not have our own product line that we sell to you. Professional makeup artist kits consist of varieties of products and items.
