This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to individuals or entities that use Look Academy's websites, products and services (collectively, “Services”). In this Privacy Policy, an individual or an entity that uses our Services is referred to as "User", "Users" or "you".

There are five categories of Personal Information that we collect:

If you are an individual who interacts with a User using our Services – that User is the controller of your information and you should contact them directly for assistance with any requests or questions relating to your personal information.


We collect and use your Personal Information to operate our website and deliver our Services to you. We will also use your Personal Information to provide you with sales, technical and account management support, notify you of Look Academy products  and important product information.

If you have opted to use Look Academy'’s Services integrated into one or more partner websites or platforms, such as for example e-commerce marketplaces, daily deal websites, directories, review sites, franchise groups etc ("Partner Platform")  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any such Partner Platform. When you transact through a Partner Platform or opt in to be activated on a Partner Platform through Look Academy, you should familiarise yourself with the privacy statement of that Partner Platform prior to providing your Personal Information, as this Privacy Policy only applies to Personal Information collected by us or through our Website.

We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Look Academy terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

Look Academy displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria—for example, men ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.

We transfer information about you if Look Academy is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Look Academy will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We also use your Personal Information in the following ways:

  1. to provide and to improve our business services,
  2. to confirm your identity; and
  3. to enable both us and the third party provider of services for which you utilise the booking to engage in direct marketing purposes.

The type of marketing and educative activities that we undertake includes forwarding material to you so that you are kept updated in relation to various issues and our services.

Look Academy may work at times with a  third party service providers to perform a range of our Services and obligations. Some of our third party service providers may be located outside of Australia.

Some of those third parties may need access to the information we have collected in order to perform our business functions.

Where we share your Personal Information with third-party service providers, they will be contractually bound to use the information only for the purposes of providing the Services or performing the functions required by us and to store the information securely.
